Nah, it's a classic stand-off pose. I can hardly lay claim to it! My piece was a desperate attempt to ape Clint Eastwood, and I just gave up after a while!
If you are unhapp about the speech balloons then Uncle Jim's lettering tutorial will set you right. I suspect you'll be wanting the slight squarer balloon as the main text is more rectangular and it would reduce the white space at below the text.
Think this is finished. Not sure about the speech balloons though...
