Part of the Fractal Friction art swap, Conor Boyle requested a drawing of one of my favourite weirdo villains of all time - Pyramid Head from Silent Hill.
My experience of Silent Hill is pretty much limited to a few hours play of SH2 and the laclustre movie (a missed opportunity I think) but when this guy emerges it's pretty chilling. He's an excellent design, weird and horrifying!
He certainly is - 'dreadful' but in the complimentary sense!
There's actually a cool experimental metal band from Middlesborough called Axis of Perdition who take Silent Hill as one of their main reference points. It's pretty cool stuff if you're into that sort of thing!
I haven't played the game much but did enjoy the film.
Anyone read the Silent Hill comics? I think your style would fit right in (have a look at the previews on Google Books) and it'd be better than some of it (check through to the end).

I haven't read the comics but I'd like to. Want to get my hands on that big compendium, although last time I checked it wasn't available on Amazon.
